Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: March 2026

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy governs how you may use the Sionix API and related services. It is designed to protect the integrity of the Sionix platform, the security of our threat intelligence, and the experience of all customers.

2. Acceptable Uses

You may use Sionix to:

  • Screen wallet addresses as part of your platform's transaction approval, compliance, or security workflows
  • Monitor wallet addresses for risk changes relevant to your business operations
  • Generate risk reports for internal compliance and regulatory purposes
  • Integrate Sionix data into your internal tools, dashboards, and alerting systems

3. Prohibited Uses

Reverse engineering. You may not systematically query the API with controlled inputs for the purpose of inferring, mapping, or replicating Sionix's detection methodology, scoring algorithms, behavioral signals, or threat intelligence sources. This includes but is not limited to: probing with wallets you control to test detection boundaries, querying large volumes of addresses to map scoring thresholds, or comparing Sionix results against other tools to reverse-engineer our approach.

Redistribution. You may not resell, redistribute, syndicate, or make Sionix data available to third parties in any form — including raw API responses, aggregated datasets, or derived intelligence — without prior written authorization from Sionix.

Competing products. You may not use Sionix data, API responses, or any derived intelligence to build, train, improve, or benchmark a competing risk intelligence, wallet screening, or threat detection product or service.

Harassment and discrimination. You may not use Sionix to target, discriminate against, harass, stalk, or surveil individuals. Risk intelligence is intended for platform-level security decisions, not targeting individuals.

Circumvention. You may not attempt to bypass rate limits, tier restrictions, authentication requirements, or any other access controls. You may not use multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits.

Credential sharing. API keys are assigned to a single organization and may not be shared with, transferred to, or used by any other organization.

Illegal activity. You may not use Sionix in connection with any activity that violates applicable law.

4. Monitoring and Enforcement

Sionix monitors API usage patterns to detect prohibited activity, including potential reverse-engineering attempts. If we detect a violation of this policy, we may:

  • Issue a warning and request corrective action
  • Temporarily suspend API access pending investigation
  • Permanently revoke API access without refund
  • Pursue legal remedies if appropriate

5. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this policy, please report it to security@sionix.tech.

6. Changes

Sionix may update this policy at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance.

7. Contact

Questions about this policy should be directed to legal@sionix.tech.
