Sionix Technologies ("Sionix," "we," "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

2. Data We Collect

Account data: When you register, we collect your email address and a hashed version of your password. We do not store plaintext passwords.

API usage data: We log API requests for rate limiting, billing, and abuse prevention. This includes request timestamps, endpoints accessed, and scan counts. We do not log wallet addresses in our application logs.

Blockchain data: The wallet addresses you submit for scanning are publicly available on-chain data. We process this data to generate risk assessments. Scan results may be cached temporarily to improve performance.

Payment data: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by our third-party payment processor. We do not store credit card numbers or bank account details.

3. How We Use Your Data

To provide and improve our risk intelligence services
To authenticate API requests and enforce plan limits
To bill your account and process payments
To detect and prevent abuse of our platform
To communicate service updates and security notices

4. Data We Do Not Collect

Private keys, seed phrases, or wallet credentials
Personal financial information beyond billing
IP addresses in application-level logs
Tracking cookies or advertising identifiers

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except:

With payment processors to handle billing
When required by law, subpoena, or court order
To protect the rights, property, or safety of Sionix, our users, or the public

6. Data Retention

Account data is retained as long as your account is active. Cached scan results are retained for a limited period to support monitoring and historical reporting features. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days.

7. Security

We take security seriously. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256). API keys are stored as SHA-256 hashes. Access to production systems is restricted and audited. See our security contact to report vulnerabilities.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and associated data
Export your data in a machine-readable format

9. International Users

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with data protection laws, we process your data based on legitimate interest (providing the service you requested) and contractual necessity. You may have additional rights under GDPR or equivalent regulations.

Our service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or posted on our website.
