Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

1. Agreement

By accessing or using the Sionix API, website, or any services provided by Sionix LLC ("Sionix," "we," "our"), you ("Customer," "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using Sionix on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Service Description

Sionix provides a web3 risk intelligence API that analyzes publicly available blockchain data to generate wallet risk scores, threat classifications, and recommended actions. Sionix is a risk intelligence tool. Sionix does not provide financial advice, legal advice, investment recommendations, or law enforcement services.

3. Account and API Access

Access to the Sionix API requires an approved account and a valid API key. API keys are issued at Sionix's sole discretion following an application and review process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys. You must notify Sionix immediately at security@sionix.tech if you believe your API key has been compromised.

Sionix reserves the right to revoke API access at any time, for any reason, with or without notice.

4. Permitted Use

You may use Sionix to:

  • Screen wallet addresses for risk assessment as part of your platform's security or compliance operations
  • Monitor wallet addresses for changes in risk status
  • Integrate risk intelligence into your internal systems and workflows
  • Generate compliance documentation for regulatory purposes

5. Prohibited Use

You may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or make Sionix data available to third parties without written authorization
  • Use Sionix to build a competing product or service
  • Systematically probe, test, or query the API for the purpose of reverse-engineering detection methodology, scoring algorithms, or threat intelligence sources
  • Use Sionix to discriminate against, harass, stalk, or target individuals
  • Share, publish, or expose your API keys
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, tier restrictions, or access controls
  • Use Sionix for any activity that violates applicable law

6. Data and Intellectual Property

Sionix's detection engine, threat intelligence, scoring methodology, behavioral analysis, cluster intelligence, and all related algorithms and data are proprietary trade secrets of Sionix LLC. Customers receive the output of these systems (risk scores, classifications, and recommended actions) but do not acquire any rights to the underlying methodology or intelligence.

All risk scores, threat classifications, threat cluster data, and intelligence reports generated by Sionix are the intellectual property of Sionix LLC. Customers are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use this data solely for their own internal security and compliance operations.

7. Accuracy and Limitations

Risk scores and threat classifications are probabilistic assessments based on analysis of publicly available blockchain data. Sionix does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data provided. Risk scores may change as new information becomes available.

Sionix should not be the sole basis for compliance decisions, transaction approvals, or enforcement actions. Customers are responsible for their own compliance obligations and for how they act on Sionix data.

8. Service Availability

Sionix aims to maintain high availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, infrastructure updates, and unforeseen events may cause temporary disruptions. Enterprise customers with SLA agreements are covered by the terms of their specific SLA.

9. Billing and Payment

Pricing is determined on a per-customer basis during the sales process. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified in a written agreement. Sionix reserves the right to suspend access for non-payment.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sionix LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, or financial losses arising from:

  • Decisions made based on Sionix risk scores or classifications
  • Failure to detect a threat or malicious wallet
  • False positive or false negative results
  • Service interruptions or API downtime
  • Unauthorized access to your account due to compromised API keys

Sionix's total liability under these terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by Customer to Sionix in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sionix LLC, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any applicable law.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your API keys will be revoked and access to the service will cease. Sections 6 (Intellectual Property), 10 (Limitation of Liability), and 11 (Indemnification) survive termination.

13. Changes to Terms

Sionix may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to the address associated with your account. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Sionix shall be resolved in the courts of the state in which Sionix LLC is incorporated.
